Money20/20 USA: How Arculus delivers data security

Adam Lowe, Chief Product & Innovation Officer at CompoSecure details why data security and privacy are of paramount importance for businesses today

Money20/20 USA 2023 saw the leading lights of financial services come together in Las Vegas to connect and offer key insights into the future of fintech.

We spoke to Adam Lowe, Chief Product & Innovations Officer at CompoSecure about why data security and privacy are so important for businesses today, particularly after the SEC announced new regulations requiring businesses to promptly report all cyber attacks.

Arculus: Strong data security a must in 2023

Lowe says: “Data privacy and data security really are paramount today.  I think regulators have seen accounts for banking get hacked, accounts for securities get hacked and people losing both their accounts and their data.

“Our congressmen and women really want us to stay safe, which is why we're promoting products like Arculus to help keep your digital assets and digital lives secure.”

And, Arculus has released new products to help businesses and consumers stay better protected. As Lowe adds: “We’ve added new technologies to payments cards (Fast Idea Online), giving our clients a digital signature upon login, providing full security on an account of anyone’s choice.

“What I’ve really come to appreciate today is that people want that seamless, one-step security for their digital assets and digital live banking. It has to be easy to use and understand.

“You can put all the rules in place, but if it's not easy, people won't use it. So that's why banks are talking to us about how to keep their accounts safe and how to keep their customers safe. With one tap of click, we are helping them enable total security.”
